Carolina Crown is a non-profit youth organization committed to "Developing lifelong excellence in young people through a superior and challenging performing arts education experience." Although involved in numerous other youth/arts related activities, the drum and bugle corps is the largest program offering of Carolina Crown, Inc.
CrownTICKETS was founded in 2003 as an event ticket printing project for Carolina Crown. After a successful first year, printing tickets for events across the United States, the operations expanded into event ticket management. A pilot event in Wichita, KS was managed in 2004, along with 3 other Carolina Crown Events, with great success. In 2005, CrownTICKETS.com, powered by Showare, was born and now provides 24 x 7 service to customers coast to coast.
The CrownTICKETS team did a super job the day of the show with on-site sales and the use of their scanners helped the guests flow through the turnstiles smoothly. Over 1,000 paying patrons through the doors in under an hour and, to my knowledge, not a single hitch.
I can say that this was one of the easiest and best decisions I made when organizing the parts of putting on my first event.
